Liz: Transformative Impact on 14th Street
In partnership with Whitman-Walker Health, Fivesquares Development has shaped LIZ, a new block-long mixed-use development on 14th Street that: not only creates long-term funding for the mission and growth of Whitman Walker, but has a transformative impact on the entire corridor–through the creation of a new cultural hub, outdoor gathering spaces, public art, and new retail.

Strathmore Square: Creative Environment
Each of our projects inspire a unique sense of community through arts and exhilarating public spaces. Located in Bethesda, on the last undeveloped site on Metro’s Red Line, a vibrant new residential community is taking shape—a creative environment for engaged, inspired living where music, culture, nature, transit, and vibrancy meet. Through a unique partnership with Strathmore Music Center and WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority), our new community of approx. 2000 residences envelopes a 1.2 acre public “square” with performances, markets, gardens, kiosks, and more–surrounded by a world class performing arts center, Rock Creek Park, and Metro.

and Andy and Ron’s story began in the 8th grade.
We grew up in Philly as best friends, and always wanted to work together. Although our careers took different paths, they frequently intertwined, and at some point, we realized we both shared the singular desire to create meaningful experiences and environments that have a positive and lasting impact. Together we assembled a stellar team, deliberately selected to provide “principal-level” experience in construction, development, finance, and marketing, and share our passion for purposeful development.
